The Varsity Baseball team hosted our alumni game this past Sat at San Leandro Ballpark. The alumni squad was filled with many recent graduates who showed they still have a lot of game left in them. The team consisted of graduates from 1973-Dave Murawski to 2012-Enrique Chabre. 2011 graduate Tyler Strawn started the scoring with a towering home run to right field in the 1st inning. The game went back and forth with the final score 7-7. A memorable moment was junior Manny Ramirez pitching against his older brother Miguel. There were no losers as a good time was had by everyone.
Next up is our road trip to Memorial Park in Atwater to play in their Easter tournament. We are leaving at 6:30 AM Monday morning, going to Elio’s for 7:00 breakfast and heading to the stadium for our first game at 12:00. The boys are very excited as we look forward to spending 3 days together on the road.
Our record is 7-1, our best start in more then a decade!
