March 16, 2013. Dublin, CA. The mid-distance, distance team participated in the Dublin Distance Fiesta this past weekend held at Dublin High School. Of the 17 athletes that participated, 14 of them ran PRs in either the 800M or the 1600M, some shattering their original records by more than 30 seconds. Most notably, Freshman standout Josh Limlingan ran the fastest 800M on the team in 2:08.96 earning him a top 3 finisher prize. Other exceptional performances came from senior Daniel Trujillo who ran a PR in the 1600M in a time of 4:58.74 and Sophomore Lupita Montoya with a time of 2:38.42 in the 800M. All in all, it was a great day of running for the Pirates!
