Criteria for Nomination and Selection of the Induction Class of 2018
San Leandro has a rich tradition of sports. The SLSF Hall of Fame is organized as a way of maintaining the rich heritage and tradition of the successful athletes and athletic programs in the City of San Leandro. San Leandro has an abundance of individuals who have made extraordinary contributions and superb accomplishments in the world of sports. The SLSF’S Sports Hall of Fame seeks to honors these individuals and their accomplishments. In order to maintain the integrity of the SLSF Hall of Fame, nominees must exemplify the highest standards of sportsmanship, ethical conduct, and moral character. All candidates will be judged on their significant and/or long term contributions to athletic endeavors. In addition, as much as possible, acknowledged leadership in his/her chosen field or community, state, and national presence will be considered.
