The Varsity Baseball Team won both games this week beating Hayward 8-1 on Wed and 5-2 on Fri to remain undefeated in league play with a record of 7-0. The team is now 12-3 overall. Kevin Nava threw another beauty on Wed, giving up only 1 run in 6 innings. The defense was stellar in both games led by catcher Jake Ruiz, who threw out 4 of 4 base runners on steal attempts. In the Wed game, Isaias Montenegro was 2-5 with a home run and 2 RBI, and Andy Ruano was 3-4 with a 2B, 3B and 3 RBI. On Fri, Montenegro stayed hot going 3-3 and Jake Ruiz was 2-3 with 2 2B along with his solid defense.
The Junior Varsity won also won both games this week vs Skyline and San Lorenzo to improve to 8-5
