(Pocatello, Idaho) – The sprints and the hurdles are always the feature events at the Simplot Indoor Games. The fastest and strongest High School track & field athletes in the Nation gather once a year in this beautiful mountian town to determine who’s the fastest indoors of them all. Gabrielle Cantrell is not a name that is recognizable even among track aficionados, but it will soon be! Gabbby scored an upset 25.52s win in the 200M to move to No.2 on the yearly national list. Last year, she had a time best of just 25.05. Earlier this year she ran 24.71 indoors. Gabriella also finished 5th in the 60m dash with a fine time of 7.50s. Kortni Smyers-Jones finished 5th in her specialty, the 60M High Hurdles, with a great early time of 8.65s. Korntie was also 14th in the 60m dash in 7.88. Christian Carter continues his impressive indoor season with a 4th place finish overall in a very fast 400M race with a time of 49.46s
