I hope everyone had a great summer!
As many of you already know, I have decided to hang-up my spurs and ride off into the sunset (did I just mix my metaphors?).
Translation – I am retiring from the San Leandro Sports Foundation and will no longer run SLSF Hall of Fame Event.
It’s been a great 20 years (10 with the CVSF and 10 with SLSF). We accomplished much together. We built facilities that will serve the health and fitness of our Community for many generations to come, and brought back long lost iconic events.
My reward was the privileged to work with many great and caring people, and the many friends that I have made along the way.
It’s time for a younger generation to step up to the plate. It is my hope that the Sports Foundation and it’s two signature events, the City Wide Track and Field Meet and the Hall of Fame Event, continue on as testament to the vitality of the San Leandro Community.
